Don't Drink and Drive

10 years ago this week, two amazing boys, one my age, another in grade two who was such a joy to visit with when I was doing ‘rainy day monitoring’ at school were taken from this world by a drunk driver.

This impacted the lives of a whole community, and especially a mother and father who really loved their boys. It’s a sad reminder of my youth, but I’ll always remember that event as a defining moment from it. Aaron was destined for greatness, and never got a chance.

I agree! Introducing a new character 5 seasons in can be awful, but this addition has been awesome, and it’s mostly because of how engaging this actress is.

Agreed. Erin is the best part of The Office and of Subtle Sexuality. And Andy now beats Dwight as person-I-want-to-know-more-about, big time.

It really is those eyes and teeth. The majority of her acting is facial - inquisitiveness and a “no, really?” kind of expression. And last week’s ep kinda broke my ‘andy is a schmuck’ attitude. poor confused guy.

Also, I’d compare erin to little grey (lexie) - in fact i had to do a double take when erin appeared.

Why does Farmville have to be so addicting?

I think the design of a game which relies on real world time to perform tasks in order to succeed, though it may teach discipline, is inherently wrong in today’s society. We should be focused on work and school deadlines, and there isn’t the same consequence in the work/school world as there is in the fantasy realm.

Matt, my two cents: no one is going to miss you if you quit.

At work we have an In/Out Board with the staff list, so reception knows who is in and out and when they’ll be back, or if people have called in sick.

Friday, 3:10 pm - 6 people are “in” of the 25 or so.
